Typopassage is an innovative museum project which exhibits typographic design spanning from the initial concept to the final stage. Curated by the design studio bauer konzept & gestaltung this freely accessible exhibition series runs throughout the year at the “Micro Museum for Typography” in Vienna. The fourth exhibition will present the unconventional works of “Hi - Visuelle Gestaltung”, a design studio run by Megi Zumstein and Claudio Barandun from Luzern, Switzerland. With a background in typography and graphic design, Megi and Claudio are particularly interested in printing and building objects, playing with shapes and messing with colours and fonts. Their creative “ping-pong” approach is expressed through editorial designs for various cultural institutions, font and poster designs, as well as intelligent signs.
Opening on May 13, 2011, 7 pm.
